How to Reach
By Train: Guwahati Railway Station is 90 KMS away. Take a cab to Nongpoh and then proceed to the Sohpetbneng base.
By Road: The entrance to the peak is located at Umsaw, which is on the NH-6. It is a clear landmark on the highway between Nongpoh and Shillong.
By Local Transport: Take any shared taxi from Nongpoh toward Shillong and get down at the Umsaw junction. From there, you can trek or hire a 4WD vehicle to the top.
