Border Life at Muktapur: Muktapur Village is a unique settlement located right on the international border between India and Bangladesh. How to Reach

The Southern Descent: To reach Muktapur, fly to Guwahati or Shillong and travel to Jowai. From Jowai, you can take a shared Sumo or hire a private taxi heading towards Dawki/Muktapur. The journey takes about 2 Hours on a downhill road. Local buses are few, so private transport is the most reliable option for tourists.
