To reach Pulga, one has to trek a short distance from the Barshaini dam, which immediately separates the visitor from the motorized world. The village is famous for its "Fairy Forest," a massive area of ancient, towering pine trees where the ground is covered in a thick carpet of needles and moss. How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Bhuntar and hire a taxi.

By Train: Nearest broad gauge station is Chandigarh.

By Road: Take a bus from Kasol to Barshaini.

By Local Transport: From the Barshaini dam, you must walk for about 30 to 40 minutes on a slightly uphill trail to reach Pulga. There are no cars inside the village. Mules can be hired at the dam for luggage if you are planning a long-term stay.
