How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport in Sikkim, located about 85 KMS away, though it has limited flights. The major international airport is Bagdogra Airport (IXB) in West Bengal, which is roughly 160 KMS from Zuluk. From Bagdogra, you can hire a private taxi to Zuluk or Phadamchen.

By Train: The nearest railhead is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), approximately 155 KMS away. Frequent trains connect NJP with major Indian cities. From the station, shared or private vehicles are available to Rongli, from where the Silk Route begins.

By Road: The journey by road is the most popular option. From Gangtok, it is a 4-hour drive covering 90 KMS. From Siliguri, it takes about 6 to 7 hours. The route typically follows NH10 to Rongpo, then towards Rhenock and Rongli.

By Local Transport: Within the Silk Route circuit, local SUVs like Bolero or Scorpio are the primary mode of transport. Local drivers from Zuluk or Rongli are highly skilled at navigating the hairpin bends and are the safest way to reach the viewpoint.
