Health & Safety: The altitude is over 11,000 feet, so Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a risk. Stay hydrated and avoid heavy physical exertion. Carry basic medicines for headaches and nausea.

Packing: Even in summer, it is very cold. Pack heavy woolens, gloves, a warm cap, and a windcheater. Sturdy shoes with good grip are essential for the uneven platform.

Accommodation: Stay in Zuluk or Lungthung homestays to be close to the viewpoint for the sunrise. Facilities are basic but the hospitality is warm.

Cash & Connectivity: There are no ATMs in Zuluk or at the viewpoint. Carry enough cash for the entire trip. Mobile connectivity is poor; only BSNL or Airtel might work sporadically.

Permits: Carry at least 4 copies of your ID proof and passport photos for the permit process at Rongli.
