Kartok Monastery
Kartok Monastery, also known as Karthok Gumpa, is one of the most significant and oldest Buddhist sites in the Pakyong region of East Sikkim. Belonging to the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, this monastery serves as a vital center for spiritual learning and communal prayer for the local populati on.
