Rani Duduma Waterfall
Site Description: Rani Duduma is often confused with the larger Duduma Falls, but it has a distinct charm of its own. It is a smaller, more graceful waterfall located atop a hill in the Nandapur region. The name "Rani" means Queen, and it is said that the queens of the Jeypore kingdom used to visit this spot for leisure. The waterfall drops from a height of about 60 feet into a serene pool surrounded by rocks. The approach to the fall involves a beautiful walk through paddy fields and a small patch of forest, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. It is a perfect spot for those who prefer a quiet, less crowded environment compared to the main Duduma falls. The area is rich in biodiversity and offers a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts.
