Kevalya Dham is a sprawling, architecturally magnificent temple complex dedicated to Jainism, located on the outskirts of Raipur near Kumhari (Durg district, bordering Raipur). It is a major pilgrimage site for the Jain community and a major tourist attraction for its stunning beauty and tranquility . The temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankar, but the complex uniquely houses 24 separate shrines, each dedicated to one of the 24 Tirthankaras of Jainism, arranged in a majestic semi-circle on varying elevations. Built entirely of shimmering white marble, the complex exudes an atmosphere of profound peace and spiritual devotion. Facilities like a Dharamshala (rest house) and Bhojanalaya (dining hall serving vegetarian food) are available for pilgrims. The sheer scale and intricate craftsmanship of the marble structures make it a must-visit location.
