The Grandeur of Raja Umed Singh: The Akhand Chandi Palace is a majestic historical monument in Chamba, commissioned by Raja Umed Singh in 1747 AD and completed over two decades. A Fusion of Styles: It was the former royal residence of the rulers of the erstwhile Chamba State, designed as an exquisit e blend of Mughal and British architectural styles, reflecting the changing political and cultural influences over the centuries of its construction and expansion.
