Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Odela
Overview of Odela Temple: This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, worshipped here as Mallikarjuna Swamy or Mallanna. It is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in North Telangana. According to local legend, a sage named Sri Pankaja Maha Muni worshipped a Lingam here, which later beca me hidden under an anthill. Centuries later, a farmer named Chinthakunta Odelu discovered it while plowing his field, leading to the construction of the current structure. The temple serves as a spiritual beacon for thousands who seek blessings for prosperity and health.
