The most significant structure is the Shiva Cave, located about 4 km away, which features natural stalactite and stalagmite formations that locals worship as divine architecture. The dimensions of the main bathing tanks are approximately 10 meters by 10 meters, constructed with local river stone and slate to withstand the mineral-rich water. Modern resorts in the area utilize a blend of contemporary glass-and-steel designs with traditional slanting roofs to handle heavy monsoon rains. The Koldam bridge nearby is an engineering marvel, stretching over 200 meters and providing a vantage point for the entire valley. The layout of the bathing areas is designed to allow the natural flow of spring water while maintaining a temperature of around 45°C to 50°C. The use of locally sourced grey sandstone in the embankments helps prevent erosion from the powerful Sutlej currents. : -
