The main trek involves a steep descent into the valley floor, following the river stream, and navigating rocky patches. It offers a raw, untouched nature experience that is significantly more demanding than the popular viewpoints. Health & Safety: Never Trek Alone. Always hire a local guide or go with an organized group. Wear Trekking Shoes with an excellent grip. Carry a comprehensive First Aid Kit and sufficient Water (at least 3 liters). Inform locals of your route and expected return time.

Packing Essentials: Waterproof bag and dry clothes (especially for the monsoon), energy bars, electrolyte mix, headlamp/torch, insect repellent, and sun protection. Carry rope/harness only if you are trained or part of a professional group.

Accommodation: Stay in a hotel or homestay in Khandala or Lonavala. The valley itself is not suitable for camping unless arranged through a professional adventure group at a designated spot.
