Travel Tips Of Dzukou Valley

The Trekking Experience: Dzukou Valley is the most famous trekking destination in Nagaland, situated at an altitude of about 2,452 meters. The trek usually starts from Viswema (easier) or Jakhama (steeper). The valley is known for its rolling hills, crystal clear streams, and the rare Dzukou Lily wh ich blooms in June. It is a plastic-free zone and requires a permit from the local youth organization. The trekker's hut at the top provides basic accommodation for those wanting to stay overnight. The landscape looks like a giant green carpet with deep ravines. It is a place of absolute silence and raw natural beauty. Most trekkers spend at least one night to fully experience the sunrise. The valley is shared between Nagaland and Manipur.
