Cathedral Hill View Point
The Cathedral Hill View Point, associated with the Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, is one of the most scenic spots in Kohima. The Cathedral itself is a marvel, built with the help of Japanese survivors of the Battle of Kohima as a gesture of reconciliation. The view point offers a breathtaking v ista of the entire city, sprawling across the rugged hills of Nagaland. It is one of the largest cathedrals in Northeast India and stands as a beacon of peace. The architecture is a unique blend of traditional Naga elements and modern Christian design. Visitors are often struck by the massive wooden crucifix, one of the largest in Asia.
