Travel Tips Of Khaltse
Tourism Tips
Food: Khaltse is a great place to try a traditional Ladakhi lunch. Many small restaurants serve fresh organic food made from ingredients grown in the village itself.
Packing: Carry a hat and sunscreen as the sun can be very harsh at this altitude. Even though it is warmer than Leh, a light jacket is necessary for the breezy evenings.
Permits: No special permits are required to visit Khaltse as it is on the main highway. However, if you plan to visit the Aryan Villages from here, you will need an Inner Line Permit.
