Tourism Tips

Health & Safety: Be aware of the high altitude (12,500 ft). Do not run or jump as it can lead to instant breathlessness. Carry a small oxygen cylinder if you have respiratory issues.

Packing: Heavy woolens are a must. The wind chill factor in the open valley is very high. Wear sunglasses to protect against snow blindness.

Accommodation: Nearest stay is in Nathang Valley (5 KM away) or Zuluk (18 KM away).

Connectivity: Zero mobile network in the valley. Ensure your driver knows the return schedule.

Cash: No ATMs or shops nearby. Carry everything from Zuluk or Rongli.
