Tourism Tips

Health & Safety: Never trek alone; always go in a group. Carry a basic first-aid kit. The rocks can be sharp, so wear proper trekking boots with good grip to avoid any slips or falls.

Packing Essentials: Carry at least 2 liters of water per person. High-energy snacks like nuts and chocolates are great for the climb. A whistle and a flashlight are essential for safety during evening treks.

Accommodation: Stay in Nagarkurnool town, which is the nearest hub. There are several lodges that are safe and affordable for trekkers who want to start their climb early the next day.

Cash & Connectivity: Mobile signal is good at the summit but can be lost in the valleys between the rocks. Cash is a must for any small purchases in the Veltoor village area.
