Vagamon Falls
Vagamon Falls, also popularly known as Palozhukum Para (which translates to 'the rock where milk flows'), is a spectacular tiered waterfall located amidst lush greenery. The water cascades down a series of rocky steps, creating a frothy, white appearance that resembles flowing milk. It is one of th e most accessible and popular natural attractions in Vagamon, especially for families. The falls are surrounded by dense forests and tea plantations, providing a cool and refreshing microclimate. During the peak monsoon season, the waterfall gains immense volume and power, making it a sight to behold from a safe distance. There are designated viewing areas where tourists can enjoy the spray of the water. The area is also rich in avian life, with many forest birds frequently seen around the water source. For those who enjoy a bit of walking, there are small trails that lead to different levels of the waterfall, though caution is required on the slippery rocks.
