Weather And Best Time To Visit In Hathiyagarh
Weather and Best Time to Visit
The Best Seasons:
October to March: The period between October and March is widely considered the Best Time to Visit. This is the Winter and early Spring season, when the weather is pleasantly cool, clear, and highly conducive for climbing and sightseeing. The average temperature during this time is comfortable, allowing for extended outdoor activities without the risk of heat exhaustion.
The Peak Summer Season:
April to June: The Summer months are extremely hot, with temperatures soaring. Visiting during this time is challenging due to the oppressive heat, which can make the trek up the hill difficult and uncomfortable. Visitors are strongly advised to avoid mid-day visits during this period.
The Monsoon Season:
July to September: The Monsoon brings heavy rainfall, which can make the hill path slippery and muddy. However, the rain also washes the dust away, and the hill is at its most beautiful, draped in vibrant green foliage. While the views may be obscured by clouds, it is a great time for nature lovers willing to brave the rain.
Different Parts of the Day: Early Morning (Sunrise Viewing) The best part of the day is the Early Morning, specifically around the sunrise hour. The air is fresh, the temperature is cool, and the view of the sun ascending over the plains is breathtaking. This is ideal for trekkers and photographers. Late Afternoon (Sunset Viewing) The late afternoon, about an hour or two before sunset, is the next best time. The declining heat and the beautiful sunset colors make it a perfect time for a leisurely visit and photography.
Mid-day: The mid-day hours should be dedicated to other indoor or shaded activities in Deoghar due to the high heat, regardless of the season, except perhaps a crisp Winter day.
