October to March (Winter/Post-Monsoon): This period is the Best Time to Visit. The weather is cool, dry, and highly pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C.
This weather is ideal for walking around the large palace grounds and for comfortable travel.April to June (Summer): Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures often soaring above 40°C.
Visits during this time should be restricted to the very early morning or late evening to avoid the intense midday heat.July to September (Monsoon): The monsoon brings moderate to heavy rainfall. While the surroundings become lush and green, travel can be slightly inconvenient.
However, the spiritual atmosphere during the Shravan Month (July-August) attracts a massive crowd of devotees (Kanwariyas) to Deoghar, which is a unique cultural experience in itself, but the palace will be quieter.Different Parts of the Day: As noted in timings, the Early Morning (sunrise time) and Late Afternoon/Sunset are the ideal parts of the day for a visit, offering the best light, coolest temperatures, and the most active aarti timings.
