Aranmula Parthasarathi Temple

Aranmula Parthasarathi Temple is one of the most ancient and revered shrines in South India. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, it is situated on the banks of the holy Pamba River. The deity is worshipped as Parthasarathi, the charioteer of Arjuna. The temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu. It holds immense historical and spiritual significance. The legend says the temple was built by the Pandava prince Arjuna. It is the stopover for the sacred jewels of Sabarimala. The atmosphere is filled with divinity and the scent of incense. The temple is a hub for traditional arts and crafts. It is particularly known for the Aranmula Kannadi (metal mirror). Pilgrims from across the world visit for a peaceful darshan.
