Rani Charushila Devi faced a personal tragedy when her husband and son passed away. Overcome with grief, she found solace in a conversation with a religious leader, Balananda Brahmachari, who suggested she build a temple to find peace. She chose to dedicate the temple to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha, symbolizing eternal love and devotion. The temple's design is heavily inspired by the Belur Math in West Bengal, a famous temple of the Ramakrishna Mission, reflecting the Queen's Bengali heritage and the architectural sensibilities of the time. The temple's intricate carvings, beautiful statues, and peaceful ambiance make it a major attraction for tourists and devotees alike. The temple's sanctum sanctorum houses beautiful idols of Radha and Krishna, which are adorned with elaborate clothes and ornaments.
