Gobind Sagar Lake
Gobind Sagar Lake is a colossal man-made reservoir located on the river Sutlej. It was formed as a result of the construction of the world-famous Bhakra Dam in the 1960s. The lake is named after the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Stretching over an area of approximately 170 square kilometers, it is one of the largest artificial lakes in India.
