There is a small Shiva Temple on the eastern bank, built with local stone and a simple shikhara (spire). The most interesting man-made feature is the Stone Ghat (Steps), which measures about 50 feet in width, allowing villagers easy access to the water. The lake itself is a mix of natural depression and man-made embankments (bunds) that have been reinforced over decades. The main bund extends for about 500 meters and is wide enough for a small vehicle to pass. The simple stone sluice gates used for irrigation are examples of functional rural engineering. The nearby houses in the village feature traditional Deccani courtyard designs with mud and stone walls, providing a harmonious architectural backdrop to the water body. -
