Hill Side Grahan
Grahan is a secluded Himalayan village that can only be reached by a beautiful trek through dense pine forests. It remains one of the few places in the Parvati Valley that has not been commercialized, offering a truly authentic experience. Residents here are very protective of their culture, and you won't find any alcohol being sold or consumed openly in the village. The houses are built closely together, creating a sense of a tight-knit community. As you walk through the village, you will see elders spinning wool and children playing in the courtyards. The silence of the village is only broken by the sound of the nearby stream and the chirping of birds. It serves as the base camp for the Sar Pass trek, attracting serious hikers. The beauty of Grahan lies in its simplicity; there are no luxury hotels, only cozy homestays where you can share a meal with a local family. The surrounding hills are covered with rhododendron trees that bloom in bright red during the spring. It is a place to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature. The hospitality of the locals is legendary, making every visitor feel like a guest of the entire village.
