Kutla Village

Manikaran, Himachal Pradesh, India
Kutla Village is a secluded high-altitude hamlet situated above the more famous Tosh Village. It is often referred to as the "last hidden paradise" of the Parvati Valley because it is not accessible by road, requiring a steep 3 KM uphill trek from Tosh. The village consists of only a handful of trad itional wooden houses and a couple of basic homestays, making it the perfect escape for those seeking absolute solitude. Surrounded by vast apple orchards and dense deodar forests, the village offers an unobstructed view of the Pin Parvati Pass. The lifestyle here is extremely simple, with locals relying on organic farming and cattle rearing. The air is remarkably pure, and the only sound you hear is the distant roar of the Tosh river and the chirping of mountain birds. Kutla serves as a base for more advanced treks like the Animal Pass and the glaciers beyond. Unlike Kasol or Manikaran, there are no commercial markets here, only the raw beauty of nature. It is a place where time seems to stand still, offering a glimpse into the authentic Himachali mountain life.
