The Aami Temple, also known as Amba Asthan, is an ancient and highly revered temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. Located in the village of Aami near Dighwara, this temple is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees, especially during the Navratri festivals. According to local folklore, the temple is as sociated with a yagya (fire sacrifice) performed by the ancient King Dirgh. It is believed that the sacrificial pit from the yagya still exists near the temple and never dries up, a fact that draws a large number of visitors.
