History Of Beeramguda Temple
Known officially as the Sri Bhramarambika Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, this sacred site is popularly called the Second Srisailam. Perched on a picturesque hillock, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Bhramarambika. Legend has it that the temple dates back to the 6th Century CE, flourishing under the Chalukyas and Kakatiyas. The spiritual aura here is incredibly potent, drawing thousands of devotees who cannot travel to the main Srisailam temple. The surrounding greenery and the climb to the top of the hill provide a soul-cleansing experience. It is a hub of Vedic rituals and traditional festivities in the Sangareddy district.
