A stone slab inside the temple premises is believed to bear the imprints of his body (Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's hand, feet, and head marks) where he meditated in profound devotion, adding a layer of personal spiritual history to the site. The Deities and Offerings: The main deity, Lord Alarnath, is a four-armed form of Lord Vishnu, holding the Shankha (conch), Chakra (discus), Gada (mace), and Padma (lotus). By Train: The nearest major railway station is Puri Railway Station (PURI), which is about 22-25 KMS away. From the station, frequent local buses, taxis, or hired cars are available to reach the Alarnatha Temple in Brahmagiri.
By Road: The temple is well-connected by road on the Puri - Satapada route. One can take local or private buses running towards Brahmagiri or Satapada from the Puri Bus Stand, or hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi for a direct ride, which takes about an hour from Puri.
By Local Transport: From Puri, local transport options include auto-rickshaws, cycle rickshaws (for shorter distances near the temple), and local taxis/cabs. It is advisable to fix the price with the auto-rickshaw driver beforehand for the round trip from Puri.
