By Air:

Nearest Airport: Vidyanagar Airport (VDY) () The nearest airport is Jindal Vijaynagar Airport (VDY) (35 KM). From VDY, hire a taxi to one of the main coracle points like Chakratirtha (near Kodandarama Temple) or the Virupaksha Temple ghat. The nearest major international airport is Bengaluru (BLR) (350 KM). Coracle rides at Sanapur Lake are further afield, requiring a dedicated taxi or scooter ride from Hampi (approx. 5 KM from Virupapur Gaddi).

By Train:

Nearest Railway Station: Hospet Junction (HPT) () The closest railway station is Hospet Junction (HPT) (13 KM). From Hospet, take a taxi or auto-rickshaw directly to the main Hampi river ghats near the Virupaksha Temple. This is the primary point for coracle crossings and pleasure rides. The boatmen are easily found operating right at the riverbank.

By Road: Accessing the Ghats () If arriving by road from Hospet, drive directly to the main Hampi Bazaar area and park your vehicle. The main coracle points at the river ghats (e. g. , near Virupaksha Temple) are a short walk away from the bazaar street.
