By Train: Kolhapur Railway Station is the closest major station. You can take a taxi or a state bus from Kolhapur to Gaganbawada. The train journey to Kolhapur is comfortable from most parts of India.
By Road: Located on the Kolhapur-Goa highway. It is a beautiful drive from Kolhapur (approx. 1. 5 to 2 hours). The roads are generally in good condition, although the ghat section requires careful driving during the rains.
By Local Transport: State transport (ST) buses ply regularly between Kolhapur and Gaganbawada. Within the town, walking is the best way to explore, though local rickshaws are available for reaching the fort or the ashram.
