Overview of Ganesh Gully: Ganesh Gully (also known as Shukla Tirth) is a narrow, natural ravine or cleft between two large rock formations that leads down to the sea, located near the famous Harihareshwar Temple. The site is a place of pilgrimage because it is believed that an idol of Lord Ganesh is submerged about 30 feet deep in the water at the bottom of the gully. This idol is said to be visible only during an extremely low tide, making it a unique natural and religious wonder. The spot offers dramatic coastal views and a mild trekking experience.: Religious Significance and Formation: The gully is part of the rocky terrain surrounding the Harihareshwar peninsula. How to Reach

By Air: Nearest airport is Mumbai (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport - approx. 210 KMS). From Mumbai, travel to Harihareshwar via road.

By Train: Nearest major station is Mangaon Railway Station (Mangaon - approx. 60 KMS). From Mangaon, hire a taxi or take an MSRTC bus to Harihareshwar.

By Road: Ganesh Gully is located in Harihareshwar, approx. 32 KMS from Diveagar. Take a taxi or bus from Diveagar via Bagmandala (using the ferry service across the creek).

By Local Transport: From Harihareshwar village, the gully is about a 1 KM walk/trek from the main temple complex. Auto-rickshaws are available in Harihareshwar town.
