How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Donyi Polo Airport (HGI), about 31 KM away. Hire a reserved taxi, as shared transport to the lake’s secluded location may be less frequent. The road to the lake is well-maintained but slightly winding.

By Train: The closest station is Naharlagun Railway Station (NHLN), approximately 21 KM away. From the station, take a private or pre-booked local taxi directly to the lake (Gyakar Sinyi). The travel time is about 45-60 minutes.

By Road: Ganga Lake is located about 6 KM from the Itanagar main town on the road towards the Jote area. It is easily accessible by a good motorable road. You can hire a full-day taxi from Itanagar to cover the lake and other nearby attractions.

By Local Transport: Due to its location slightly outside the main town, local shared taxis might drop you off near the main road, requiring a short walk. It is recommended to hire a dedicated taxi for a comfortable round trip. ()
