By Train: The Nearest Railway Station is Chitrakoot Dham Karwi Railway Station (CKTD). From CKTD, Janaki Kund is about 4. 5 KMS. Auto-rickshaws are easily available, costing approximately Rs.70-Rs.120 for a one-way trip. The journey is short and scenic.
By Road: The site is located on the main road that connects Ram Ghat to the Sati Anusuya Ashram. State and private buses, as well as taxis, travel this route frequently. The drive from the center of Chitrakoot is very accessible.
By Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws are the lifeblood of local travel. They can be hired for a single trip or a half-day package tour of all the major sites (Janaki Kund, Sphatik Shila, Hanuman Dhara, Gupt Godavari). Always agree on the fare beforehand. Shared autos also ply this route. :
