By Air (Closest Airport): The nearest and most convenient major airport is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) in Hyderabad; The reservoir is approximately 100 KMS away from the airport; From HYD, one can hire a pre-paid taxi, a dedicated airport cab service, or an online ride-sharing service to reach the reservoir directly; The journey typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions within Hyderabad city limits; This is the fastest but most expensive mode of transport; By Train (Nearest Railway Station): The closest major railway station is Vikarabad Junction (VKB); The reservoir is about 15 KMS from the station; From Vikarabad station, local transport like auto-rickshaws, shared taxis, or local buses are readily available; Vikarabad is well-connected to major cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai; The train journey from Hyderabad to Vikarabad is approximately 1.
