By Train: Nearest major station is Puri Railway Station (PURI), approx. 35 KMS. Use an auto or taxi via the Marine Drive Road; inform the driver the destination is the Balukhand Sanctuary Entrance.
By Road: Located directly on the Puri-Konark Marine Drive (NH 316A). Look for the forest check-gate.
By Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws can be hired from Konark but may not go deep inside the sanctuary area; prefer a hired car or taxi.
