By Train: The nearest major station is Pathankot (90 KMS). From there, you can take a bus or a private cab.
By Road: Regular Volvo buses run from Delhi (approx. 10 hours) directly to the McLeod Ganj bus stand.
By Local Transport: Within the town, walking is the best way to explore. For longer distances, local "Yellow Taxis" operate on fixed rates between Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj.
