There is a famous local saying: "Raja Medini Rai Ke Raj Mein, Sabke Ghar Mein Kado Me Dahi Beche" (In the reign of King Medini Rai, everyone had so much curd they sold it in heaps). The statue was erected to honor his contribution to the local culture and his resistance against Mughal expansion. It is located at a prominent crossroads in the heart of Medininagar, making it a landmark for all travelers. The statue depicts the King in a warrior stance, reflecting his bravery and leadership. By Train: Just 1. 5 KMS from Daltonganj Railway Station. You can walk or take a 5-minute auto ride.

By Road: All buses entering Medininagar pass through this central circle.

By Local Transport: Every auto-rickshaw in the city will drop you here for a minimal charge as it is the central hub.
