Details : Phullen Village is a historically significant settlement located in the Saitual district, known for its rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted Mizo traditions. In the British era, it was a prominent village ruled by powerful chiefs like Vanphunga Sailo and later his son Awksarala Sailo. T he village is often referred to as a "living museum" because of the numerous historical landmarks scattered throughout its territory. One of the most famous sites is the Sahlam tree, where ancient Mizo warriors used to hang the heads of their enemies as trophies of war. Phullen also played a pivotal role in the religious history of Mizoram, being the site of the first Christian revival at Khandaih Bethel in 1906. The village atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, offering visitors a glimpse into the traditional Mizo way of life that has been preserved for generations. The geography of Phullen is a mix of rolling hills, community forests, and small agricultural plots where locals grow traditional crops. The village center, known as Diakkawn, serves as the social and economic hub where one can find local markets and administrative offices. By Train : Reach Silchar station, then take a private Sumo; the total journey can take up to 10 hours.

By Road : Phullen is well connected to Aizawl and Saitual by daily bus services and shared taxi Sumos.
