How to Reach

By Air: Reach Bagdogra and then travel to Lachen via Gangtok; Samdong is a short drive from Lachen.

By Train: From NJP station, take a private vehicle to Lachen (7 Hours) and then proceed toward Thangu.

By Road: It is situated on the main road connecting Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake, roughly 15 KM north of Lachen.

By Local Transport: Only private or shared 4WD vehicles (Sumo/Bolero) are recommended due to the rugged mountain terrain.
