By Train: Reach Simaluguri Junction in Assam, which is about 95 KM from Mon, and then take a shared or private Sumo vehicle.
By Road: Mon is connected to Kohima and Dimapur, though the journey from Dimapur is long and takes about 11-12 hours through hilly terrain.
By Local Transport: From Mon town center, private taxis are the most reliable way to reach Shangnyu, as public bus services are very infrequent.
