How To Reach Simsang River Viewpoint
How to Reach
Guwahati Airport (GAU): Nearest international airport (250-280 KMS). From Guwahati, one must hire a cab or take a bus to Baghmara, and then continue the journey toward Rongra to reach the viewpoint.
By Train:
Guwahati Railway Station (GHY): Nearest major train station (320 KMS). Road travel is required to Baghmara from the station.
By Road:
Via Baghmara: It is a roadside spot. Hire a taxi or take a shared Sumo from Baghmara towards Siju or Rongra, informing the driver to stop at the viewpoint. The drive takes approximately 30-45 minutes from Baghmara town center.
By Local Transport:
Hired Taxi/Bike: A dedicated hired taxi or a motorcycle is the best way to reach the viewpoint for a quick stop, as public transport will only pass by without stopping unless asked.
