How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport, about 130 Kms away, but it has limited flights. Most travelers use Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal, which is roughly 160 Kms from Uttarey and well-connected to major Indian cities.

By Train: The closest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), situated about 155 Kms from the park. From NJP, you can hire a private taxi or take a shared jeep to Jorethang, and then proceed towards Uttarey via Soreng.

By Road: Uttarey is well-connected by road to other parts of Sikkim. From Soreng, the drive takes about 2 hours through scenic mountain roads. The route passes through Daramdin and Dentam, offering beautiful views of the countryside and the Singshore Bridge.

By Local Transport: Shared jeeps are the most common form of local transport. They run regularly between Soreng and Uttarey. Within Uttarey, the park is a short walk or a 5-minute drive from the main village market, making it easy for budget travelers to reach.
