How to Reach

By Air (Flights): The nearest airport is Kangra Airport (Gaggal Airport - KGG), about 120 KMs away. From the airport, a taxi or bus is required to reach Khajjiar's main market area, where the centre is located. The road journey takes about 4-5 hours.

By Train (Rail Connectivity): The nearest railhead is Pathankot Cantonment (PTKC), approximately 100 KMs away. From Pathankot, a taxi to Khajjiar takes about 3-4 hours. Buses from Pathankot to Dalhousie or Chamba offer a cheaper option, followed by a local transfer to the central Khajjiar market.

By Road (Bus/Taxi/Driving): The centre is located conveniently in the main tourist area of Khajjiar, near the meadow's entrance, right off the main Dalhousie-Chamba road. It is highly accessible by road, being only 24 KMs from Dalhousie and 22 KMs from Chamba. HRTC and private buses stop nearby, and the location is easily identifiable.

By Local Transport: The Tibetan Handicrafts Centre is located within easy walking distance (0. 5 KMs) of the Khajjiar Meadows and most local hotels, making local transport unnecessary. It is a key stop for local walking tours and is generally the first place tourists encounter when approaching the meadow from the main road. The main parking area is also very close by.
