By Train: Simaluguri Junction in Assam is the closest railway station, roughly 100 KMS from Mon. Taxis are available outside.
By Road: Mon is well-connected to Kohima and Dimapur. From Mon town, Yei is reached via a rugged but scenic mountain road.
By Local Transport: Shared Sumos run from Mon to nearby villages, but hiring a private 4x4 vehicle is the most reliable way to reach Yei.
