Kanti Waterfall

Latehar, Jharkhand, India
Details: Kanti Waterfall is widely considered one of the most picturesque spots in the Latehar district. Located on the Amjharia Plateau, it falls gracefully from a height of about 25 feet. The approach to the waterfall requires a short trek through a beautiful forest trail. The site is characterize d by its large, flat boulders which allow visitors to walk close to the falling water. It is a popular weekend destination for locals from Ranchi and Latehar. The surrounding valley is lush with wild flowers and diverse tree species. The air here is noticeably cooler and fresher than in the nearby towns. It is a perfect example of the "Hidden Jharkhand" that is yet to be commercialized.
