Material and Construction: The entire structure, including the walls, flooring, and roof, is made of local, natural materials: bamboo, cane, wood, and thatched leaves. The joints are secured using intricate cane and rope lashing, a testament to tribal craftsmanship.
Functional Layout: The interior usually consists of one large communal space, a designated kitchen area with a central fireplace, and a balcony or verandah (baling) running around the periphery, serving as a social area. -
