Cave Structure and Dimension: The temple is housed inside a naturally occurring limestone or sandstone cave. The main chamber is quite large, perhaps 20-30 meters deep and 10-15 meters wide, with a high ceiling in some parts.
Interior Features: The cave floor is adapted with simple steps and a platform for the deity and worshippers. There are reports of two tunnels (tunnels are a hidden gem, but I'll describe them briefly here): one that is large initially and then narrows, and another that is a lateral extension of the main cave.
Idol Placement: The idol of Lord Shiva (or Lakulisha) is typically a small, simple shrine placed against a natural rock niche. The architecture is primarily the natural rock formation, adapted minimally with a gate, a platform, and steps leading up to the cave. -
