Mawkdok Dympep Valley View is one of the most iconic and photographed locations in all of Meghalaya. As you drive toward Cherrapunji, the road suddenly reveals a massive, deep V-shaped valley that seems to plunge into the core of the earth. The valley is characterized by steep, green-carpeted slope s that are often partially hidden by low-hanging clouds. This spot is the official entry point to the Sohra tourism circuit. A beautifully designed bridge, the Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge, spans the start of the gorge, providing a perfect platform for viewing.
