Nityanandasramam
Nityanandasramam, located in Kanhangad, is a spiritual sanctuary founded by the revered saint Swami Nityananda. Situated atop a small hill near the ruins of the Hosdurg Fort, the ashram is a unique blend of spirituality and architectural marvel. Its most striking feature is the collection of 43 man -made caves carved out of a single laterite hill. It is said that Swami Nityananda himself participated in the excavation of these caves, which were designed for silent meditation.
